en Industrial design Industrial design Review Paper <span style="font-size:10pt"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><span data-darkreader-inline-color="" style="color: black; --darkreader-inline-color: var(--darkreader-text-000000, #e8e6e3);"><i><span style="letter-spacing:.1pt">Ergonomics and aesthetics are two critical factors in the product design process that can influence the quality and efficiency of products. Since a comprehensive and systematic framework for examining the synergy between ergonomics and aesthetic criteria in product design has not yet been presented, this review study aims to explore this dual relationship. This research employs a systematic review method, utilizing the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. Out of an initial 262 articles, after several stages of evaluation, 44 articles were selected for the final review. The insights and findings from the literature review in this field and various research methods were combined and categorized into a conceptual framework. The results of this review article can provide designers with new insights into the design of ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing products.
